The SOCi team is honored to be named a finalist for the Global Business Tech Awards’ SaaS Company of the Year category. In an industry like SaaS which is so large and encompassing of several categories, being shortlisted for this award is a testament to SOCi’s dedication to innovation in the digital marketing space.

SOCi is the marketing platform for multi-location brands. We empower businesses like Ace Hardware, Jersey Mike’s, Kumon, and Ford to scale localized marketing efforts across all digital channels in a way that is brand directed, locally perfected, and data connected. Through the use of advanced AI and machine learning, the SOCi platform provides users actionable insights and recommendations while automating time-consuming marketing tasks for hundreds or thousands of business locations.

SOCi is the only marketing platform that equips multi-location brands with the ability to manage localized digital search, social, and reputation channels at scale for hundreds or thousands of locations. With recent integrations with Apple Business Connect to deliver accurate business information on Apple Maps, and OpenAI to enable instant intelligent responses to online reviews, SOCi is well on its way to becoming an indispensable marketing tool that works FOR the user.

In March 2023, SOCi announced it raised a total of $120 million to invest in a revolutionary line of AI marketing products and to expand into new markets. Led by a group of neuro and data scientists, SOCi aims to leverage the new investment to change the relationship its customers have with marketing software. Through a new line of “Genius” products, SOCi will leverage advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning models to transform its software from an award-winning platform that enterprise brands leverage to market to their customers, to a marketing partner that makes highly intelligent and impactful marketing decisions while also automating time-consuming marketing tasks at scale. SOCi recently launched the first “Genius” product with a first-of-its-kind OpenAI integration into the company’s review response management tool, which uses ChatGPT’s natural language model to enable instant, intelligent responses to online reviews.

In addition to enhancing products with AI integrations, SOCi will soon be releasing its annual Localized Marketing Benchmark Report (LMBR), the most comprehensive multi-location benchmark report available to digital marketers. The 2023 LMBR focuses on the actual monetary cost of consumer invisibility and how brick & mortar brands are struggling to keep up with consumers’ online expectations across local search, social media, and ratings and reviews sites. The most recent iteration of the report was released in April 2022 and evaluated nearly 300 multi-location brands and over 12.9 billion data points to identify key takeaways for brands looking to develop a localized marketing strategy that can help drive more visibility, traffic and sales into their businesses. The LMBR is the only report of its kind, helping to build localized marketing as a category, establish SOCi as an industry leader and show large brands’ success metrics to help multi-location marketers build their localized efforts.

In the past year, SOCi has received several recognitions and awards, including the Inc. 5000, Entrepreneur’s Top Franchise Suppliers, G2’s Best Software Awards for Marketing and Digital Advertising Products, one of Forbes America’s Best Startup Employers, Inc. 5000 Regionals 2022: Pacific list (ranking #119) and The Financial Times List of America’s Fastest Growing Companies. Additionally, several notable companies turned to SOCi for localized digital marketing efforts in 2022 and 2023, including Pet Supplies Plus, Ford, Smashburger, Taco John’s, Jersey Mike’s, Rent-A-Center and Charleys Cheesesteaks.

Winning this award would demonstrate that SOCi is an example of the ultimate SaaS company: one that uses technology to automate customer tasks and provide strategic recommendations, enabling highly intelligent and automated workflows across numerous major marketing channels.
