By the HAI team
HAI (HUBPY AI) was named a finalist for Best AI-Driven Business Intelligence Tool at the 2026 Global Business Tech Awards. The recognition follows our Silver award in the same category in 2025 and marks another chapter in our work helping companies cross borders more intelligently.
For us, the connection between those two milestones is continuous learning. As AI changes, the tools businesses can use change with it. Our task is to keep turning that change into something useful for international teams.
Iterating at the speed of AI
Between our two award entries, AI models and the products built around them evolved rapidly. We made a deliberate choice to keep revisiting how HAI works: which tools we recommend, what we build and what we learn from operating our own products.
That has meant revising core parts of the platform as our understanding improves. A new model or framework is useful when it helps solve a business problem. Each development cycle starts with that problem and returns to it when we assess the result.
Speed matters, but so does learning from each version. That is why we think of HAI as a loop: discover, build, operate and learn.
Discover, build, operate, learn
Discover. Businesses need a clear view of the AI tools available to them. Our curated AI tools directory brings tools together across categories, helping teams explore options relevant to their work. Choosing an existing tool can be the most practical starting point.
Build. Where existing tools leave a gap, HAI builds custom AI products around the problem. Our approach is model-agnostic, allowing us to reassess the technology as the work develops.
Operate. We use what we build in our own work across languages and markets. Operating a product reveals practical questions that a demonstration can miss: how it handles unfamiliar documents, where information goes and what happens when a workflow crosses a border.
Learn. Those experiences inform the next round of tool evaluation and product development. The loop connects discovery with implementation, and implementation with the lessons that make the next decision better.
For us, business intelligence includes understanding which technology fits the work, how to put it into use and what needs to improve once people rely on it.
Starting with the friction we know
Our own international working environment is a useful place to test that approach. Everyday tasks can become difficult when they involve different languages, document formats and expectations about data handling.
A tool that works well with English text may need more careful evaluation when Chinese filenames or multilingual documents enter the workflow. A convenient document service may also raise questions about where a file is processed and whether it is appropriate to upload it.
These experiences have shaped two questions we bring to product decisions: does this work for the languages our users need, and is its handling of data appropriate for the task?
They are practical questions, but they influence architecture, tool selection and the experience people have every day. Addressing them is part of what we mean by helping companies cross borders more intelligently.

Building on the recognition
We are grateful to the judges and the Global Business Tech Awards team for recognising HAI with Silver in 2025 and a finalist place in 2026. Congratulations to Lenovo, whose AI FRU Finder took the top prize, and to fellow finalists DAC (TotalSERP) and TeqBlaze. Both milestones encourage us to keep improving how we connect AI discovery, product development and practical experience.
As we look towards 2027, our focus remains the same: keep learning from the work, keep improving the tools and help international businesses make better use of AI.
